Fozzy concert recap

OMG I MET HIM!!!! I MET CHRIS JERICHO!!!! like a total life goal and i MET HIM. And he is SO nice!!!! Ok right here's what happened. We get there and i couldn't believe how close i could get to the stage so i was kinda like "What's the deal here?" then when the support band on we realised there was hardly any people by us because we were against a wall of SPEAKERS. lmao. So now i'm actually half deaf but i don't care because I MET CHRIS JERICHO!!!!!

So um. The support band were pretty good. Some good metal going on. Then Fozzy came on. Oh. My. GOD. This is when nobody cared if they were going to be deaf... they just wanted to get by Chris so i was squished against a metal bar taking lots of pics. By the way he wore a sleaveless "Beatles" t shirt hehe. Knew he'd get cheers out of the crowd for that. Said he'd loved them since he was about 3 hehe. Shame he didn't actually take the shirt OFF though... lol.

So they opened with "To Kill A Stanger" And he's like "We've just come from Manchester!" in his sexy canadian accent and he didn't realise that Scousers and Mancs don't actually get on... LOL so he clicked on pretty quick and he's like "F*ck Manchester!" LOL. But omg he is so incredibly sexy... my legs were jelly. So he walks over by us and i held my arm out and touched his forearm! And JEEEZZZ the muscle on it. So i was on a total high for that! They played a few more songs... pretended to go home to their "Limosines and mansions" ----lol.... They were so cool and the guitar playing was soooooooo damn good. SO good. Duke was jumping up and down and looked soo cool, every now and again saying stuff like "Can you FEEL it?!" and "Everybody jump in the f*cking air!" lol....and they also played a few tracks from their new album. This whole time i'm stuck on a metal bar staring in disbelief that Chris Jericho is stood infront of me... singing.... dancing.... totally ROCKING Liverpool.... lol oh my god once again. From the first two albums he played Eat The Rich(sooo good....), Live Wire (fantastic), End of Days (A favourite and brilliant), Feel The Burn (Utterly fabtastic), Freewheel Burning (So cool), Crucify Yourself (A top fave and so happy they played it) and With The Fire (Again... brilliant) they were just AMAZING. And they had a new guitarist... said he'd only been playing for a week (no way in hell lol) and he was just amazing on the guitar... i can't stop using the word amazing LOL. A guitar got passed to Chris at one point to in which he showed us even MORE talent what he beholds.

So they finished and i was like "Holy Moley just amazing" lol... so we gets more drinks (i went and bought a Fozzy tour t-shirt, the last one as i got there so i was SOOOOOOOOOO chuffed! mwahahaha. The last CD went before i could get it though so it'd going on order!!) and goes the loo and what have you, they told us we had to queue up outside again for the all nighter (a money making scheme i guess coz we had to leave then queue to come in exactly the same room) and if you had your Fozzy ticket you could pay £2 instead of 10. So of course we queued. I asked the lady i paid if i could keep my ticket bu she said i'd have to pay £5 for it... or get it on my way out. So i made sure i got my Fozzy ticket back when i was leaving!!! We were told Chris and Duke were coming to DJ at 11 o clock. So we got in there bout 10 mins to 11pm. Stood right by the DJ box. And we stood there til like half 12. Probably 1am actually. Conviced he wasn't coming back. So we got talking to this guy who's like "No way I love Jericho too!" lol so we all waited, crossing our fingers that he's coming back. We seen Bouncers line up a few times n got excited but he just didn't come. We also asked the current DJs and they said Chris had gone for a shower (i said that earlier too!, and it must have been in his hotel coz he took bloody ages lol)Then all of a sudden i saw Duke walk past me... and i'm like "Woooaaaah" then CHRIS walked past (in a blue t-shirt with a pic on - BERT AND ERNIE - and "Math is fun" underneath LOL and i'm like NOOOO WAAYYYYY lol so they get in the DJ box. So i then got squished against the DJ box. Even more squished than i was against the metal bar lol. So Chris is busy talking to people so i got Dukes attention and asked him to sign my album cover for me (their first album cover, i thought that be best) so he takes it and i'm like "My name's Steph" and he's like "Steph?" lol and wrote it on a piece of paper to make sure that was my name and THEN signed it. So he was about to give me it back and i asked him to ask Chris to sign it for me too. So i got "Thanks Steph, Rich Ward." and then Chris just signed it for me. Duke have me it back and put his hands together and bowed his head to me saying thanks again, he's such a sweet guy. He was shaking hands too and i shook his hand and was dying against the DJ box lol. Leah, a friend i brought with me who hardly knew who Chris was before i brought her was like "Oh my god he's gorgeous" LOL.

Anyways. I really really wanted a photo with him so i queued up by the DJ entrance/exit where a big meaty bouncer was standing. It so happened that this bouncer had talked to us a little on the way out the first time we had to leave.... so i thought i'd ask him nicely to let me grab a hold of Chris lmao. Anyways there's this REALLY snotty girl infront of me who's like "GET OFF MY BACK NOW" when i wasn't even touching her. Kinda freaky really so i tried to avoid her.... i then heard her ask the meaty bouncer if she could get a photo with Chris. He was like "Nah it's too busy, you'll just have to take one of him alone" so i was like ohhhhh noooo.... So she took one of him... she even asked him for a pic and he was like "I can't sorry i'm signing as much as i can and you're on the outisde" hehehehe... So i was kinda gutted hearing that.... then the snotty girl goes and i got to the bouncer... i was nearly on my knees lol asking "please please please let me get a pic with Chris" hahahaha... so he just said if i could lean in and get someone to take it i could because nobody was allowed in the DJ box with them. So next time he comes over my side of the box i'm like "Hey Chris! Will you sign my shirt please?" (I'd put my Fozzy t-shirt on by now) and he's like "Yeah sure" and starts signing my CHEST (oh lord)...So i took the opportunity to ask if he'd get a pic if someone took it for me and he's like "Of course!" so Leah took a pic of us!!!! So yeah i died then coz wait til you see the pic, i had one arm around his neck and one on his waist and the man has the most AMAZING.... TONED body EVER.... god i was in heaven. So we thought we'd give everyone else a chance to get something signed by him... went the loo and bought a drink and went back to the DJ box to drool over his sexiness.... lol. Gawwwd he is just amazing. Words can't descirbe it, they really can't. Before we knew it they were saying goodbye over the mics and said they had the coolest time in Liverpool...(oh yeah i asked Chris if they were gonna come back soon and he said he'd definitely love to come back to Liverpool as he'd had such a good time) and Duke walked past me so i shook his hand and told him how great they were and gave him a kiss on the cheek and he gave me one back!!!! YEAH I KISSED THE DUKE!!!!! lol. Chris had too many people around him while he was walking out so i didn't even get close enough to give him a kiss.... lol i'd went numb when i got a pic with him and didn't even know my own name lol. So it was just so good, they were brilliant and i shall be going to future Fozzy concerts without a doubt!
