That's a tough question and doesn't really have a right or wrong answer. John Cena is very popular and makes the company a lot of money. Christian has long been one of my favourites and I'd love to see him get a shot with the title. It's been a long time since Jericho has been in that position and of course I'd like to see it happen again. I don't think you can say who deserves it more, though. They all do for different reasons.

That depends on what you mean by world champion. A lot titles - besides ones like the Intercontinental, European, United States championships among others - are referred to as world titles. If that's what you mean, then when you add up his NWA, ECW, WCW and WWF/WWE title reigns he's been a world champion 21 times by my count. However, if you're asking about world heavyweight championships, he's held the WCW world heavyweight title twice and the WWF title once.

There isn't a solid release date yet. It was originally supposed to be out in August, but some delays came up and the last I heard was that they're hoping for a release sometime in January. If and when something is announced, it will be posted on the site.
EDIT: "All That Remains" is set for release on January 18, 2005.

1. They perform whenever and wherever they can. It's tough for them because they all have different schedules. Chris is always on the road with WWE and the rest of the guys are involved in their own musical projects, so it's hard. Any upcoming concerts are listed on the site though, so keep checking back.
2. Chris will turn 34 on November 9.

Everyone is OK. A lot of wrestlers live in Tampa, but I haven't heard anything about anyone being hurt. There was likely some damage done to property by the storms, but that's about it.

Good question! I'm not sure if he's ever explained it, but it's basically just a play on "Y2K" the buzzword at the time. Y2K represented the new millennium, and Y2J was billed as the wrestler of the new millennium.
There was a "Y2J" t-shirt released shortly after his debut that apparently had the definition of "Y2J" done dictionary-form, but unfortunately I wasn't able to get one and they're no longer being made. If anyone out there has one and would like to let me know what it says on the back, please e-mail me!

That's a tricky one and depends on who you ask. Some say five, some say four. I say four. While defending the title in a match against Chyna, it was ruled that both Chyna and Jericho had their shoulders down and they were named co-champions. Later, Jericho would beat Chyna and Hardcore Holly in a match to become the undisputed Intercontinental Champion. In my opinion, since he never lost the title, the win to be re-named the sole champion wasn't a title win.

That's a good question. Chris said in a commentary a few months ago that it'd be sometime in August, but then last week in an MTV article it was said that it'd be a fall release, so it may have been pushed back a bit. I've never claimed to know him or have any contact with him. I just go by what he says in interviews, and he's talked about being a father and being married. Why would he lie about that? Also, a couple of friends of mine went to a Fozzy concert in February and met him after the show, and he had his ring on. They also gave him a gift for Ash and he took it gladly. Sounds like a guy with a wife and kid to me.

From Jess: What do you think is the best Jericho moment? And why?
A few of my favourites that come to mind right away are his WWF debut, the phantom WWF title win in April 2000, the WCW title win in October 2001, the Undisputed title win in December 2001, and the match with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XIX.
As for why: His WWF debut because I had seen him being misused in WCW and was excited to see what he could do in "the big time." Then when it actually happened, it was great. The crowd was insane for him, going back and forth with the Rock... you can't ask for a much better way to start than that.
The almost-win of the WWF title from Triple H again because of the crowd. People really wanted to see the title change hands and when the ref counted to three the place exploded.
The WCW title win because it was an amazing match and he finally "won the big one" and made the jump to main events.
I think the Undisputed title win speaks for itself.
The WrestleMania XIX match because it was his first truely great WrestleMania match. It was one of the biggest matches of his career and he turned in one of his best performances as well.
I'm not sure if I can pick one favourite out of the bunch.

Wow. That's a tough one. I don't keep records of all of his matches, but they've worked together quite a bit. I'm going to guess that The Rock has won more often, but the consolation is that Jericho won the important ones: he beat The Rock for the WCW title in October 2001 and again in December when he won the Undisputed title.

First of all, I very highly doubt the rumours you mentioned. Why people have to start things like that, I'll never understand. Just because they work together doesn't mean they're in love, people! Do you work with anyone of the opposite sex? Probably. Does that mean that you're dating them? Probably not. They are just friends doing their job like you or I or anyone else. Just because their job is public doesn't give you the right to start stupid rumours about them. Ugh.

From Skyler: I just read an interview with Bill Goldberg, which he did recently with Ross Forman, and in the "Word Association" section of the interview, when Chris Jericho's name was mentioned, Goldberg said "Nice Bumper." What does that mean?
"Bump" is another word for a fall. When a guy goes down after taking a move, he's "taking a bump." A "nice bumper" would be a guy that takes the falls in a way that makes the move look good, which makes the guy delivering the move look good as well.

I have no idea. There were rumours a few months ago about a match with Steve Austin, but that died down pretty quickly. Austin's not in great shape these days, and Jericho seems to be heading for a face turn, so I doubt that match will happen. You're almost right about the ECW music. The song was called "Electric Head part 2." I guess there's a different song called "Electric Head" or something.
Both of his WCW themes were WCW-made songs. Nothing by any famous groups. Although his second WCW theme sounds a lot like Pearl Jam's "Evenflow."
As for SWM and WAR, I don't know. If anyone knows what songs he used in Mexico, Japan, or Smoky Mountain Wrestling, please drop me an e-mail and I'll add it here.
EDIT: Thanks to Ann for sending this in: In the Q&A section someone asked you what songs Chris has used for theme songs. I heard somewhere that he and Lance Storm used "Rock America" as a tag team theme.

From Skyler: I don't seem to have much luck with the Q&A but anyways, can you give a ballpark figure on the amount of money a wrestler like Y2J makes annually? I KNOW you can't give an exact figure, but any suggestions would be good. I once read that The Rock made 15 Million per year when he wrestled with the WWE.
Again, these personal questions are very hard to answer. You're right, I can't give an exact figure. Or even close, but I'll try.
There are a lot of things that decide how much a wrestler makes. First is their base salary, which is guaranteed to them and is basically the least amount of money they can make. For example, if a guy signs a contract for $500,000 a year, that's the very least that he would receive. On top of that, the guys get a percentage of pay-per-view revenue, live event ticket sales, merchandise sales and things like that.
Now that I've (hopefully) explained how they make their money, it comes to how much certain people make. And I have no idea about Jericho. Some guys' contract details are made public by "insider" sources, but most aren't. WWE doesn't announce the terms of contracts like a hockey or baseball team would.
There were rumours (key word: rumours) out a few years ago that Jericho was making close to $1 million a year, but the business was a lot stronger then (more PPVs bought and more merchandise and tickets sold), so it may be less now. It could also be higher seeing as he's a more important part of the company now than he was in 1999.
Basically, I don't know. There are always rumours and guessing, but unless you have access to his bank account, nobody but he and WWE knows for sure.

From Skyler: I've noticed that Chris Jericho has been absent from WWE's Monday Night Raw for he past two weeks (I have'nt watch it in a while, I just read the reviews on wwe.com). I can imagine that he's taken some time off to spend with his wife and new baby Ash. What I would like to know is do you have any idea how long he will be gone from Raw and if there are any plans for him to change his character from heel to babyface.
Well, first of all I think you need to find a new place for recaps. WWE.com obviously isn't very detailed as Y2J has been every RAW in recent memory, including the last two weeks. He wrestled Goldberg for the World Title last week. I can't believe they'd leave that out.
I've heard rumours about him turning face, but that's all they are so far. Rumours. I don't see it happening any time soon, seeing as he's in the middle of a feud with Steve Austin, the biggest babyface in WWE history.

I'm pretty sure that he no longer has a public address for people to write to him. The last time I saw it posted on his site was shortly after he joined the WWF. I don't think there is a 100% sure way to get it to him unless you meet him in person, though. A match at Unforgiven isn't looking likely so far as there's only one more RAW left before the PPV to make a match and he isn't in a feud... Unless his recent disagreements with Christian count, but I doubt they'd do another heel/heel match, especially after the reaction it got (or failed to get) last week. As for your second question, I don't know for sure, but I'd imagine that he'd get a bit of time to be with his wife and child after it's born. Maybe a week off of house shows or something. I'd be surprised if he missed any TV time, though.
Edit: Y2J does indeed have a match at Unforgiven. As we found out on RAW, there will be a Triple Threat match for the Intercontinental Championship between Chris Jericho, Rob Van Dam, and Christian.

Not a great way to start of this section, but I have no idea. I have no contact with Chris, so personal questions like this will be hard to answer. If details are made public, I'll put them up here, but I doubt that will happen. Athletes have very little privacy so I'd imagine that they keep as much of their personal business to themselves as they can. I can't say I blame them.
