Triple H defeated Chris Jericho and Matt Hardy in a non-title Triple Threat match in 12:25. Hunter and Jericho had a staredown after the bell rang. Matt Hardy walked over and pulled them apart. They ignored him and went back to their staredown. Hardy did it again and Jericho slapped him, so Hardy responded with a punch.
Jericho hit a springboard dropkick that knocked Hunter and Hardy off the ring apron as the show cut to commercial.
Jericho set up Hardy for a superplex, but Hunter snuck under Jericho and turned it into what I believe Ross referred to as a triple stack superplex. Cool name.
A short time later, Jericho locked Hunter in the Walls of Jericho. Hunter powered up and crawled toward the ropes. He came close to reaching the bottom rope, but Jericho pulled him back toward the center of the ring. Hardy recovered and ran in to break it up. Hardy and Jericho fought in the ring while Hunter rolled to ringside to sell the Walls of Jericho spot.
Later, Hardy hit the Side Effect on Jericho. As Matt was standing up, Hunter got back in the ring, kicked him in the gut, and hit the Pedigree out of nowhere for the win. Ross said all three men should be congratulated for their efforts.
After the match, Jericho hit Hunter with the Code Breaker. Jericho went to ringside and pulled out a table from underneath the ring. He brought it into the ring and went after Matt Hardy, but Jeff Hardy ran out and saved his older brother. Triple H recovered and walked toward Jeff. Hunter spun Jeff around, but Jeff kicked him and hit the Twist of Fate.
Jeff set up the ladder and climbed it as the crowd roared. Vladimir Kozlov entered the ring and Jeff dove toward him, only to be greeted with a battering ram headbutt. Kozlov hit a move on Hunter and then stood over both men. The announcers recapped footage of Kozlov attacking both men. Ross questioned what effect this would have on the WWE No Mercy pay-per-view to close the show.
Powell's POV: Strong debut show with all the top performers featured.
